Travellers can purchase from Air Greenland insurance with coverage against loss in the event of the airline’s bankruptcy.

The insurance costs DKK 20 per person. Accompanying children under two years of age will be included in the adult’s bankruptcy insurance.

The insurance applies to travellers from Denmark to Greenland who are not travelling on business, i.e. it only covers private travellers.

The booking must therefore always state whether the trip is for business or pleasure.
