The robust Twin Otter airplane is developed to start and land out in terrain. Special tundra wheels enable it to land in rough terrain - and with skis it can land on the inland ice.

Based in Akureyri in Iceland, Norlandair offers complete solutions, also in Greenland. Norlandair's pilots are experienced in flying under difficult Arctic conditions. They complement Air Greenland's capacity for operations in rough terrain and on ice and snow with their Twin Otter aircraft.

The Twin Otter is designed specifically for takeoff and landing in difficult terrain, and it can land almost anywhere in Greenland with cargo or up to 9 passengers. The Twin Otter can be fitted either with special tires for uneven runways or with skis for landing on ice and snow.

Norlandair's Super King Air B200 is a fast turboprop aircraft with room for seven passengers. It is ideal for the smaller groups and as an air ambulance.
