Air Greenland connects Nuuk and Qaqortoq with a direct scheduled service from spring 2026

From 16 April 2026, Air Greenland operates a direct Dash 8 service between Nuuk and Qaqortoq, establishing the first non-stop air link between the two cities. The route provides Qaqortoq and South Greenland with direct onward connectivity to domestic destinations across Greenland and to international services operating to Copenhagen, Billund and Aalborg.

Fly directly to Qaqortoq

The new route comes with Air Greenland’s travel benefits from day one.

Air Greenland Family gives families the opportunity to book together and travel at a lower price. The price is calculated on the Takuss ticket based on route, time of travel and availability, and applies across the entire route network, including the new connection to Qaqortoq. One family member creates the booking, the rest travel along.

  1. The prize is a gift card of DKK 10,000 redeemable against Air Greenland products. The gift card cannot be exchanged for cash, in whole or in part.
  2. To enter, the participant must complete and submit the form on this page. Upon receipt of the submission, a confirmation page will display the message "Thank you for your entry."
  3. The deadline for submitting answers is 15 April 2026.
  4. The winner will be announced on 16 April 2026 at 12:00. The winner will be contacted directly by Air Greenland's head office and announced on airgreenland.gl and on Air Greenland's official Facebook page.
  5. Air Greenland and its representatives will never contact the winner through a third party or other companies.
  6. To enter, the participant must provide their name, phone number, place of residence, and email address.
  7. The participant must be at least 18 years of age.
