Greenland Tourism Awards 2025 går til… Raw Arctic!
Raw Arctic ApS and the team behind it have, in a short time, built a company that is paving the way for the future of tourism in Greenland. With a strong focus on sustainability, culture, and authentic experiences, they have laid a solid foundation for responsible tourism.
To be named the winner of the Greenland Tourism Award, a company must develop and offer responsible products with an emphasis on safety, quality, environmental care, innovation, and social responsibility. The award is presented annually as part of a collaboration between Visit Greenland and Air Greenland. Its purpose is to celebrate tourism operators who lead the way and set new standards for responsible and authentic tourism—bringing joy to visitors, inspiring others in the industry, and benefiting our country.
This year, both locals, tourists, and industry colleagues could nominate Greenlandic tourism companies for the award. Based on these nominations and the established criteria, a professional jury selected Raw Arctic as the winner of the Greenland Tourism Award 2025.

About Raw Arctic
Raw Arctic has only existed for 15 months, but the three co-founders—Rasmus Brandt, Isak Brandt Hansen, and Casper Frank Møller—have long worked with a clear mission: to create travel experiences with deep respect for nature and local culture, with sustainability as a core value.
They have succeeded. Today, Raw Arctic offers experiences such as fly fishing, whale safaris, hunting tours, northern lights tours, wilderness camps, and tailor-made trips—always with a focus on presence and quality. Catch-and-release fishing, solar-powered camps, and guest education on climate change go hand in hand with hiring and training local staff. This creates authentic encounters between guests and guides, where respect for nature and culture is always at the forefront.
The company also works closely with hotels and other tourism operators to collectively elevate tourism in Greenland. Their strong digital storytelling not only promotes their own products but also increases interest in Greenland as a destination and inspires other industry players to think innovatively and responsibly.
The other nominees
Out of a total of 32 nominated companies, a professional jury consisting of representatives from Visit Greenland, Air Greenland Group, and NALIK Ventures selected three finalists for the final decision. In addition to Raw Arctic, the following were nominated:
- Authentic Greenland – known for safe and holistic experiences, where guests can enjoy dog sledding to the Ice Sheet, snowmobile tours, local food traditions, and Greenlandic cultural storytelling.
- Diskobay Tours – combines strong traditions with love for sled dogs and respect for nature, contributing to the preservation of traditional lifestyles and local development.
Like Raw Arctic, they are all examples of the positive impact tourism can have in Greenland. Thanks to them—and to all other operators working with responsible tourism. A big thank you also to everyone who nominated candidates and cheered along the way.
We congratulate Raw Arctic on winning the Greenland Tourism Award 2025. In addition to the honour, they receive a trophy designed by artist Kim Kleist Eriksen and a travel gift card worth DKK 10,000 from Air Greenland.
