SeatBoost is available on Air Greenland’s transatlantic flights between Greenland and Denmark, provided you hold an eligible ticket for upgrade.
Please note that bidding is only possible on departures operated by our Airbus A330-800neo 'Tuukkaq', which serves the route between Nuuk and Copenhagen.

Seatboost App Guide
● Auctions for last-minute upgrades to Premium Business and Premium Economy via the SeatBoost app open 10 days before departure and close approximately 4 hours prior to takeoff.
● To participate in an auction, travelers must be checked in for their flight and either enter their booking reference and name, or – if available – scan the barcode or QR code on their boarding pass using the SeatBoost app. The auction and upgrade process is fully automated.
● Travelers enter their credit card information in the app. The card is authorized for the minimum bid amount, but will only be charged if the upgrade is won.
● The winner(s) will be notified and will receive their new boarding pass directly in the SeatBoost app. If needed, it can also be accessed in the LATAM app or printed at the gate.
FAQ
- The final 60 seconds of an auction make up the final round. During this time, participants can place their final bids.
- Upgrade availability is not guaranteed at the start of the auction – this is only determined at the end.
- Please note that some restrictions may apply due to safety considerations, special service needs, or the type and fare class of your ticket.
- If the customer does not win the auction, the temporary hold on their credit card is immediately released.
- Passengers can contact SeatBoost at https://seatboost.com/contact-us or through the Help section in the SeatBoost app.
- The following ticket types are eligible for upgrade: Standard and Standard Flex.
