Cabin attendants

An application is made when a job advertisement has been posted on our website, which is not a fixed application deadline, but as a starting point, new teams are started in the spring.

Cabin attendants daily work consists of


Serve passengers and generally ensure that passengers have a good experience onboard.

On transatlantic routes and certain domestic routes food and drink are served, and duty free is sold onboard the Atlantic routes.

Take care of safety and to oversee passenger well-being and comfort onboard our aircraft and helicopters.

One must be willing to work at all hours of the day

About the training programme


The basic education is a theoretical course of 3 weeks for Greenland and 4 weeks for Copenhagen. Flights are commenced under the supervision of a supervisor of 1 week duration, if one has passed the basic course

The education includes i.a. course in: Excellent customer service, fire fighting and smoke training, survival training, first aid, handling of passengers, communication, dangerous goods etc.

The education is mainly taught in English

Your qualifications


Presentable and a pleasantly prominent exterior, including being friendly and welcoming. You have to be flexible and have a great interest in other people

You can maintain an overview and calm in stressful situations and could have many balls in the air

Be 21-years-old at time of application

Completed a school education or equivalent vocational education

Normal vision, general good health, both physical and mental

Be able to swim at least 200 m (Practical test included in the training course)

The ability to produce clean CRB check

Be at least 160 cm high and with a normal weight in relation to the height

Economy


Salaries are provided during the training.

The home towns for flight attendants are currently Nuuk, Narsarsuaq, Ilulissat and Copenhagen.
