At Air Greenland, live animals can travel either with their owner or be transported as air cargo (AVI). If your pet is travelling as air cargo, the shipment must be arranged through a specialised freight forwarder.

Our staff will help ensure that the transport is carried out safely and in accordance with the applicable regulations for the transportation of live animals.

If you are planning to travel with your animal, we recommend contacting us well in advance of your departure. Space for animals on our flights is limited, and transportation must always be arranged in advance.

We will help you make sure that all necessary permits, documents and practical arrangements are in place, so that both you and your animal can enjoy a safe and comfortable journey.
